White Jura Limestone

This fairly dense limestone is quarried in the Franconia Mountains, located in the Jura region of Germany.

For centuries white jura has been used as building and architectural material, even being specified by King Ludvig of Bavaria for many of his castles. This attractive and durable material is fairly consistent in colour with a smoky mocha, faint shelling.

White Jura is available in approximate sizes:


40 x 40 x 1.3 cm (16” x 16” x ½”)
40 x 60 x 1.3 cm (16” x 24” x ½”)
40 x 40 x 2 cm (16” x 16” x ¾”)
40 x 60 x 2 cm (16” x 24” x ¾”)
60 x 60 x 2 cm (24” x 24” x ¾”)
